What your test takers will need
Laptop or desktop with:
Windows 7 or higher, Internet Explorer 11 and .NET Framework;
Core i3 or higher;
2GB memory;
10GB disk space.
NB:
The computer will need basic internet access for TestApp Simple Assessments, TestApp Low-stakes Exams and TestApp Mid-stakes Exams;
For TestApp High-stakes Exams: internet access should be a minimum of 1Mb per second.
Total memory of 3GB will be needed for TestApp Mid-stakes Exams and TestApp High-stakes Exams.
Terms & Conditions
It is essential for your test takers to agree with the following Terms & Conditions:
1. Ensure your computer needs to meet the specifications required for the type of test being delivered;
2. Check the computer camera prior to starting the test – use TestApp to do so;
3. Close all other applications running on your computer;
4. Ensure you are alone when taking the test;
5. Ensure you are not disturbed during the test;
6. Using headphones is forbidden;
7. Switch off all other electronic devices (phone, tablets, etc.) prior to starting the test and ensure they remain switched off during the test session;
8. Ensure you stay permanently in view of the computer camera while doing the test as you not allowed to leave the computer for any reason (e.g., getting a drink or going to the bathroom).
Simple procedures
It is very important to provide the following orientation to your test takers:
1. For all monitoring and proctoring options just book your test and download TestApp;
2. Once it has been installed, open TestApp and check your computer’s camera;
3. Once you have done that, all you need to do is sync the app – it will bring down any tests you have to do;
You are now ready to do your test!
NB: In the case of TestApp High-stakes Exams, you will need to book a time when one of the remote proctors is free and then follow the proctor’s instructions for starting your test.
